children children children (:

it's been a week again.
time flew by me this week.
SERIOUSLY, nothing exciting.
though on 2 separate ocassions, little miss "i'm damn good" pissed me off at work AGAIN.
there was another who was rude. i think they've been sitting next to each other for far too long that she's affecting him :(

anyway, friday was GAMES DAY! (:
perfect day for the kids and the teachers.
we spents hours gossiping and talking about nonsensical rubbish.
the children had an entire day of PSP, Nintendo DS and what not. (:
ooh XBox as well. haha.
we had prize presentation and lucky draw! 3 students got awards. 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze for outstanding performance in school.
and there was lucky draw! haha.
it was well a very funny and amusing award presentation for the teachers! haha.
we had fun.
my nightmare happened when i brougght the kids to the playground when the sun was crazily blazing.
AND i was physically tortured when they squeezed my hands till it turned red and my arm was trembling.
and i got hit by the students as well :( tears were rolling down despite me laughing like crazy. IT WAS TORTURE.
the things we do to keep them happy!
headed to vivo

work today was exciting.
the last weekend for the holidays so i got the great big fun of playing metal slug on ps2 with one of my students.
joke around with the primary 6s only after teaching little brandon how to do with work :( it took a lot of patience out of me. boo.
METAL SLUG was fun though i kept dying cos huang lei had to make the difficulty level at the highest!
i'm in school now, waiting for Marc to finish his orientation stuff which was supposed to end 41mintues ago from now. (it's 1.41pm now)
and so i'm amusing myself in the school library! making use of the school's resources!

school starts for the children next week!
and i'm going to die. with all the checking of schoolbags, schoolwork and fetching them from school. my role as a mummy is finally going to start :(

my thoughts about work so far:
it makes me feel like being a stay home mum. the children are amazing. they have so many different sides of them and when i thought about their parents, i realised that they are missing out on alot! at home the children are totally different from what they are at the centre and their mums and dads miss out on EVERYTHING. they come to pick them up, sometimes late. and all they ever do is scold them in front of us, or they just walk in and pick them up without even asking a thing about them :(

it's going to be a bumpy ride (:

excursion today was a tiring one.
last night, i slept at 2am and i had to wake up at 6.30am in order for me to get to the centre in time after eating my breakfast!
i stupidly set my alarm at 7 cos i forgot that i had to take time to travel down.
i must have been really too damn tired.
anyway, since i was late, i cabbed down to meet jas for breakfast at the macs near the centre!
head counted the children, took their temperatures and made sure that all their water bottles were filled up and they have visited the loo loo.
then we had to gather them into little groups and we boarded the bus!

ESCAPE THEMEPARK.

the teachers had a few rules to follow while the primary 5 and 6s had the liberty to roam free :D
brought the little ones on the family coaster cos they needed to be under parental supervision for most of the rides because they wer too short :(
brought them on the family coaster, the ferries' wheel and the choo choo train.
you cannot believe how jas and i squeezed into those rides. they were meant for CHILDREN. like those approximately 1.1m! :(
but we have our own way of having fun.
i managed the persuade the little kids to go for the daytona go-kart!
of cos most of them were under the height requirement, so JAS AND I GOT TO DRIVE THEM ROUND AND ROUND :D PERFECT! (:
went for lunch at burger king. i felt like their waitress or something.
they were damn noisy. but we had an entire place reserved for us.
but the public stupidly sat on our places so i had to squeeze with my sticky&sweaty students! haha.
we went along to play the carnival games!
& I ALMOST WON MYSELF A NICE ROUND FLUFFLY STUFFED TOY :(
notice the word - ALMOST!
BASICALLY, i had to get either below 11 points or above 30 points within 6 throws of the ball in order for me to get the prize.
and there were points of 1 to 6.
so i was aiming for above 30.
four of the balls ended up in 6 (HOORAY!)
one in 4.
the last one. I WOULD HAVE WON SOMETHING IF I ENDED UP IN ANY NUMBER EXCEPT FOR ONE!
but guess what number i got? ONE. :( what's the probability of getting and one? and i got it!
depressing.
BUT i have nothing to complain about considering that i have ultimately superbly sweet students (: well maybe one!
goh wei zhe! (: he gave me his little bear in the middle of this picture :D
haha. it's the only one that he won,the rest was from the scratch and win.
i got a purple version of his red bears from scratch and win as well (:
so i have two bears!
the fact that i got the one that he played for (even though the others are cuter) makes him very sweet :D most people would give the one that they put in the least effort for.
I HAVE SWEET STUDENTS (:
after that, i had to play with the kids again. AFTER LUNCH :(
jas and i had to go on the rainbow and the viking with them because they needed one adult to one child, meaning we had to go on it TWICE :( help me.
i was going to die. yes. i have a fear of heights to top that up.
we felt sick after that cos we had to go on 5 rides in a row to make the kids happy.
alas, it was time to go back! queasy and tired, we took the bus back!
TADAH. my first ever excursion when i'm not the student and i've realised the pains.
sorry to all my teachers who went through so much trouble to make me have an enjoyable day :D i appreciate it!

I AM GOING ON AN EXCURSION TOMORROW! (:
yes. with the little children.
all the way to escapte themepark (:
where i will be a babysitter and a teacher and a guardian and whatnot!
i hope i don't lose any of them tomorrow.

i'm supposed to be sleeping early.
but i can't seem to sleep anymore.
there must be something on my mind.
something that bothers me and eats into the very being of me.

CONGRATULATIONS SHERILYN SOH!

seriously, nothing exciting has been happening in my life except for the little excitement i get from work.
children are amazing. there are so many things you can learn from them while teaching them.
it's a little late but CONGRATULATIONS TO SHERILYN! (:
she's finally graduated.

NAFA graduation show was the main highlight for my entire mundane week.
here's a few of my favourite designs which took the runway by storm (:
the preppy look, children's wear and clothing for mums and kids. <3

really. all the clothing are designed by the nafa graduates themselves.
pretty, aren't they? (: simply gorgeous!

introducing GAIA! (:
sherilyn's group's line of maternity wear.
they won best visual concept (: damn happy for her.

after the show, we went for refreshements at the visitor centre and took a stroll round the exhibition area.
headed for GIRLS' NIGHT OUT AFTER THAT (:
to celebrate sherilyn's graduation, we decided to have our pathetic dinners at 7eleven =S
we sat around and ate and my two dear girls had to put on their make up!
-shakes head- and sherilyn has officially self-proclaimed herself as the drag queen (: she's hilarious!
headed to zouk for mambo night.

there were a lot of people there. and i swear the music is geting worse.
EVERYONE inside was packed like sardines and there wasn't much space.
sherilyn got a cut on her leg by someone who stepped on her while i have a bruise courtesy of a rude guy who stepped on my foot three times the entire night and didn't even have the decency to say SORRY! :(
people like them. they are terrible.

something hilarious happened to my girlfriend (:
i shall not mention in here to save her from the embarrassment.
but she's damn funny and adorable during then.
though she accidentally tried to kill me by bringing me down to the ground.
my dear girl, your secret is safe with us! we shall not expose you. hehehehe.
so be nice to us!

anyway, Caiting called me today asking me what kinda footwear i would be wearing.
adorable yes? children children children. i love them (:

    yayness

blog skin inspired by the love between a girl and her dog. a lot of emotions came out of me when i saw this photo. go figure.
the simple connection between a child and a dog. in today's world, it could possibly be the closest thing to her.
